Approved food storage containers are those that are in like-new condition, with tight fitting lids and have no visual chips or cracks. Your own containers are more than welcome as long as they are approved. Recommended containers should be rather large family style rectangle (lasagna/casserole) in shape and size or those that will be sufficient for your family’s needs. Material should be made of BPA free glass and shock-resistant high temperature Borosilicate glass.
